Local Programs

Lalor Living & Learning Centre has programs, activities and events in addition to the accredited and pre-accredited adult education courses listed elsewhere. To learn more about our local programs, read below and then contact our office for further information.

Our After School Tutoring program provides one-to-one tutoring to school aged students in all subjects.

We offer an Occasional Childcare Service for families of our students and anyone else in the community who would like to have their child cared for during the day.

Living in Australia — English Language Course is for new arrivals to Australia and residents with very little English. Students in this course are not eligible to receive government subsidy for their fees. Held two evenings per week during school terms.

My Connected Community is an opportunity to use the Centre’s computers for people who wish to create simple documents or use the internet. The session is supported by one of our community volunteers and is held on Friday mornings at the Centre. A small donation is payable.

Women of Will is a group of local women who support breakfast clubs at local schools and provide food support to other community members in need.
