Lots of families enjoyed a great time at the Lalor Community Connection Day on Saturday 5th March 2016. This free public event is co-hosted with the Yarra Plenty Regional Library (Lalor) and ran from 11am-1pm with activities in both venues.
Children were thrilled to experience cuddling baby animals at the petting zoo (some parents joined in too!). Others had their faces painted by Betsy the Clown while Pirate Pete did all sorts of pirate-y things.
There was a free sausage sizzle, singers, performers and magicians, children’s activities and heaps more across the whole area. Activities were held at Lalor Living & Learning Centre in the French Street Hall (47A French Street) and in the Yarra Plenty Regional Library – Lalor branch (May Road).
We are proud to co-host this annual community day with the Lalor library and look forward to seeing you in March 2017!
